Welcome to PriceBlvd.net, a website dedicated to keeping the public informed of progress on the City of North Port’s corridor study for Price Boulevard within southern Sarasota County, Florida.
The study limits are from Biscayne Drive to Orlando Boulevard, a distance of approximately 13 miles. The study will evaluate capacity improvement options. Multiple alternatives will be considered for capacity improvements including increased laneage, intersection improvements, operational improvements, and alternative corridors. The need for pedestrian and bicycle lanes will also be evaluated to determine if improvements are warranted.
We are here to field your questions and concerns, and are also available to speak at homeowners association meetings and before business organizations. This website is only one of the many ways in which we will keep you up to date of what is happening on this project.
A complete public involvement program is being conducted throughout the study. This program is designed to make the public aware of the project, and to solicit comments and input from the public during the development and evaluation of the alternatives and the selection of the preferred alternative.
